Social Networking Made Obama a Winner

The election of  2008 campaigning  was different than any other prior election .The usage of social networking had a primary effect of the results of the 2008 election. Social networking gave the candidates their donations to  fund their campaign. Social networking served as a source of data collection for the voter views on each candidate. What made Obama ultimately so popular was his excellence at facilitating social networking in comparison to the other candidates.
Obama caused social networking in his campaign through theMyBO website. The MyBO produced an enormous amount of revenue for the Obama campgain. The My BO got people to go out and vote who were  indecisive about their vote before. For example.the My BO affected the primaries of Texas allowing Obama to win.Obama effectively broadcast  his messages to the public through to the public.Obama was better at gathering the general public by gaining followers through social networking.
If  social networking places such a big  role  on how we  see our candidates ,  have to face the fact that we must scrutinize whether our political decisions  are solely based on social networking's  effects. The public needs  to be aware of the allurement of social networking.

  1. I think your blog is very organized. You included a picture which not a lot of people did. I liked how you included the main points of the article rather than including unnecessary information. Your blog is very colorful and I lie the use of your layout.

  2. I absolutely agree with your last point! It is certainly important for us to not get lost in the social networking city, and to keep ourselves sober and in check, recognizing that these tools can effect huge change, as evidenced in the Obama article!

  3. i also agree that your use of a picture of the president is very alluring. it brings me in and reminds me of a regular online article about the president. i think you could have added more towards the article, maybe discussing who was apart of the creation of the websites or how his opponents tried to do the same thing but couldn't compare to what Obama's team did. also your points were correct about being aware to not get lost in social networking huge community.

  5. i agree with what she has to say. i also liked the picture she used of the president ! i believe He delivered his inaugural address immediately following his oath. he also Early in his presidency, Obama signed a law raising the tobacco tax 62 cents on a pack of cigarettes. The tax is to be "used to finance a major expansion of health insurance for children", and "help some [smokers] to quit and persuade young people not to start". i
